 Prietta: Lovely Peruvian Mare

Prietta is a lovely black Peruvian mare who was placed with Healing Hearts Animal Sanctuary in Wilcox, AZ.  Prietta also came from the Colorado case.  She is six years old.  She is about 14 hands high.  Prietta is shy because these Peruvians had a bad history.  Prietta will need consistent and kind handling and training.

13 year-old liver chestnut Peruvian Paso mare

Sire: S.H. Burlon - Dam:  Zarzuela WWR

MM Zarabanda is a 13 year-old registered liver chestnut Peruvian Paso mare.  Her sire is S.H. Burlon, son of 13 time US national champion of champions and 4 time US national lauredo champion stallion AEV Oro Negro, and grandson of Peruvian national champion of champions stallion and lauredo champion, AEV Regional.  Zarabanda’s dam was Zarzuela WWR who was the granddaughter of the great Peruvian national champion stallion  AEV Caramello, the beautiful Peruvian who actress Vivienne Leigh fell in love with and tried to purcahse.   Zarabanda's dam, Zarzuela WWR, also is full sister to Zanguita WWR dam of Peruvian champion, Rayo de Olympico CdeA .(Conquistador).and our program namesake

Zarabanda may be a companion horse only because she had an injury to her back while still in Colorado She is very well bred with very good old Peruvian bloodlines.
